TEAM
Definition: Underwater hunter Level I, is the trained freediver who has successfully
completed the theoretical and practical training of 1st Level of underwater
hunting education and has been certified by a spearfishing Instructor.
Participation requirements: Must be adult and healthy. Candidates up to 16 years old
must be companion by a parent consent.
Documents: Identification card or passport.

Seminar duration: Theory: 12 lessons of 1 hour each
Practical: 10 lessons of 1 hour each

At least 4 open water sessions
Two sessions in open water are allowed per day, with a minimum break of 4 hours after the end of the first session.
Exams: Theory: 20 questions in education topics. The candidate must score minimum 14
(70%) to succeed.
Practical: The candidate examined and succeeds if he performs the exercises with
a score of 70%, otherwise he cannot be certified
Seminar organization: The seminar is organized and performed by a
Spearfishing Instructor, which has the responsibility
of the organization of the seminar and certified
candidates with the appropriate certificate.
Proportion of candidates per Instructor: One (1) Instructor per four (4) candidates
One (1) Instructor and one (1) assistant per
six (6) candidates

The instructor must use two (2) buoys at the training area
The number of spearguns must be one (1) functional (band / rubber power or pneumatic) and one (1) non - functional (bands / air free), only for training. If there’s an assistant Instructor two (2) non - functional and one (1) functional may be used.
