Practical (2 sessions):

Slow speed manoeuvres

Practical understanding of stopping distances

Come alongside another craft, pontoon or floating dock

Approach and recover man overboard

Control and corner a PWC at planing speed

Complete a slalom exercise
-
Maintain a good lookout at all times

Set up and tow another PWC
-
Reboard a PWC from deep water + capsize

Carry out a small, planned tour
Course duration: 1 Day
Certification exams: No theoretical exam is required although all candidates must show a good, general understanding of all topics.

All candidates must reach a satisfactory, practical standard as determined by the RYA instructor.
Instructor’s ratio per candidates:
Theory education: One (1) RYA Instructor per 6 candidates
Practical education: One (1) RYA Instructor per 6 candidates

The entire above are performed under the supervision of a RYA Instructor, which has the full responsibility of the integration and certification of the school.
